Jake Paul to face Tommy Fury: Date, TV channel & location for fight


Jake Paul’s next fight will be against Tommy Fury on Dec. 18 in Tampa, Fla.

The matchup was announced Friday. It will mark the former YouTube star’s first faceoff against an opponent with a boxing background.

Paul said (per ESPN) that Fury has agreed to temporarily change his name to “Tommy Fumbles” if he loses. If Paul loses, he will give Fury $500,000 out of his fight purse.

The 22-year-old Fury, who is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, holds a 7-0 record as a pro boxer. The 24-year-old Paul, who initially seized his fame through content creation, is 4-0. In his last bout, he defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley via split decision.
