Officials missed a potential pass interference call on fourth down inside the five-yard line against Wisconsin during the final seconds of Nebraska’s 35-38 loss to the Badgers.
On fourth-and-20 at the Wisconsin 21 with 12 seconds left, Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez attempted a pass to Zavier Betts, which was broken up by cornerback Faion Hicks. Hicks made contact with Betts’ legs, and caused him to miss the deep pass. After the play, the Nebraska bench showed their disapproval of the missed call. The officials flagged the Huskers for and allowed Wisconsin to hold on for the victory.
